This week's Spoonflower Design Challenge called upon designers to tap into their inner child with the theme, "Cute for Kids". The preview format was a sheet set, which admittedly isn't the most effective way to showcase designs with delicate details. So, I approached it as a twelve-year-old version of myself, contemplating what kind of sheets I'd have loved.
In reality, my mom would have had the final say (being the purchaser), so her opinion inevitably tipped the scale. The winning design that managed to capture both our hearts was "happiNess" by birds&whatnot. Its vivacious color palette, dominated by a beautiful teal and the playful depictions of Nessies, is sure to elicit a smile from even the grown-up me.
However, there were a handful of designs that stood out, albeit not quite fitting the theme. One such design that deserves an honorable mention is "Good Night, Moonlight" by shellypenko. Its soothing blue hues and inviting design make it the perfect companion to snuggle with at bedtime.
