This week, I had the delicious pleasure of diving into the Yes, Chef! Design Challenge. As someone who loves both cooking and eating, this was a fantastic theme to explore. The challenge called for culinary-inspired designs that would appeal to foodies.
I noticed that designs with two or three main elements really stood out to me. There’s something about the simplicity and focus of these patterns that makes them so appealing. They manage to capture the essence of culinary delights without overwhelming the senses.
Speaking of standout designs, my absolute favorite from this challenge is “Oranges and Blue Flowers” by jlopezart&design. Now, this design is a bit more traditional than my usual style, but it won me over completely. I could practically smell the fresh oranges just by looking at it! The combination of vibrant oranges and delicate blue flowers is perfect, making it versatile enough for a variety of garments.
Next week, we’re diving into the Create-Everyday Design Discovery with J is For…
Until next time, Happy Sewing!
