In this week's Spoonflower design challenge, the designers' creativity was put to the test with a limited color palette. Their task was to come up with a unique table linen design, inspired by East Fork Pottery's seasonal hues.
With such a defined color range, it took time to fully appreciate the nuances of each design as I navigated through the vibrant gallery of submissions. It was intriguing to see the overwhelming preference for Amaro and Blue Ridge among the color options.
The design that captured my heart was "Trees and Birds" by teri_larson.The thoughtful repetition of elements and the surprising pop of blue in the bird motif made this pattern truly distinctive. Its harmony with the East Fork Pottery colors truly illustrated the challenge's essence.
With a playfulness that seamlessly fuses with sophistication, "Trees and Birds" is my pick for this week's design challenge. Congratulations to teri_larsonfor this captivating piece.
